Kerri Kneisley, Masters Candidate Therapist

I believe that every challenge in life is an opportunity for us to demonstrate our character and to grow.  At times, it is helpful to have someone to walk with you through that challenge.  I have always had a passion for serving others. After retiring in 2015 from a career within the criminal justice system, I decided to pursue this passion within the counseling arena. For the past three years, I have been counseling adults, in both individual and group formats, who are mandated to obtain treatment by the criminal justice system. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical counseling through Eastern University, and I serve as a practicum student here.  I see clients in person at our East Petersburg location.

I consider my approach to be eclectic, combining cognitive-behavioral and experiential techniques through a person-centered lens.  I have experience working with various mental health disorders, abuse trauma, anger management and conflict resolution, and relationship issues.

I was born and raised in Lancaster County, leaving only briefly to attend post-graduate school in Pittsburgh during my early-20’s.  I have since made my home with family here in beautiful Lancaster.  I enjoy traveling, hiking, spending time with my two Labs, music, reading, and crossword puzzles.  I look forward to learning more about you and helping you grow through life’s challenges!
